Canton Air Conditioners
How do air conditioners work in Canton and everywhere else? Many people just think of an air conditioning unit as something that keeps you cool in the summer. In truth, there is a lot more to an HVAC unit, but I’ll write generally. You probably have not thought of some of this basic material.
Air conditioners do much more than cool-off a room or building. That is just one aspect of their function. They also maintain a steady temperature via the thermostat, clean and filter air, and perhaps most impotatntly – de-humidify the indoor atmosphere. Humidity is the major culprit in making people uncomfortable during summer months in Canton Georgia.
The air conditioning unit operates by basically pulling in the air from inside, then filters and captures the moisture and pollutants from it, sends some outside as condensation and simply isolates the bad stuff from the rest (filter), and then circulates cleaner cold air back into the building to stabilize the indoor temperature to the desirable level.
Technically, a compressor, condenser, and fan vent hot air coming off the compressed refrigerant in the system to go out. A valve regulates the refrigerant going into the evaporator, and the pressure of the refrigerant drops. At this point, the solution changes back into a gas. The compressor (pump) is what changes it back to a liquid to function further. The system also has other components (timers, valves, sensors) but the afore-mentioned components do the lion’s share of the work.
This is all a bit strange to non-technicians. You only need a general idea about it. You simply want your air conditioning system to dehumidify, clean, and cool the air when it is hot. Simple enough?
