I was very happy with my experience with Green Heating and Cooling. I wanted to replace 2 HVAC units in my house. I worked with Heath New. He is an extremely competent salesman with installation experience. He was able to answer all of my questions and I had a lot of them. The installation went very smoothly. The installers put down new tarps to protect all of the floors and wore booties. After the installation, the office set up a commissioning appointment to make sure all installation details were completed correctly. I am very happy with Green Heating and Cooling and recommend them to you.

Explained what he was going to do , did it quickly and the finished produce was just what I was looking for. Can not say enough good things about Green H&A. A great team to work with. Firstly, met with Heath how came out mid-afternoon on July 3rd to review our current (20 year old) system. We spent a good amount of time talking about the pros and cons in both capabilities and running costs of various setups and really gave me the sense that he wanted me to get the right system vs. the flavor of the month, current promotions, or most expensive system. The Trane system we agreed upon was very fairly priced and I could have had it installed the next week if my schedule would have allowed it. As it was, we set a convenient date and the installation team of LB and Randy arrived at 7am to beat the heat! They were done within 2 1/2 hours for a completed removal of the outside and attic units of my original system, and the installation of the new units - incredible! Very nice guys, clean, efficient, and great to chat with. I highly recommend Green Heating and Cooling - definitely a company we'll be using for our second system when the time comes! Thanks guys!

Wanted to have two Aprilaire units installed in my HVAC system and got Green Heating & Cooling from Aprilaire web site. Called and spoke with Wendy who said someone would call back; spoke with Keith within thirty minutes and from then on the transaction was smooth. Keith gave me a prices, setup an install date and two techs showed up (LB & Randy) on time, were friendly but got straight to business and the complete install was done in a little over an hour- and they cleaned-up after themselves. Green is the way a business should be run. As a side note, I had previously called another "local" company, left a message with the secretary and I made two other follow-up calls and they NEVER returned my call. Green has certainly "earned" the Five Star rating as far as I am concerned.

I have a small home yoga studio and with two ceiling cove radiant heaters, I have finally achieved temps of 105- 108. It is yoga heaven thanks to Heating Green. A competitor to this company told me the cove heaters would not work. Wrong - they work perfectly. I have used Green H & C since 1973, at 4 different homes. I recently had them replace 4 high eff. Dual Fuel heat pumps , that were17+ years old. As always, their service and quality was outstanding, while their prices were fair and competitive. I have a contract with them which includes a highly qualified technician doing preventive maintenance on all 4 systems twice a year. Green Heating & Cooling came out recently for a regular HVAC check and to replace a specialty filter that my system takes. Everything went very well. The technician noticed a damper on my system and suggested that it be placed in the half position during winter months to allow more heat to reach the second floor. I just had both my heat pumps replaced as well as my crawl space duct work. The entire Green Heating and Cooling team was a pleasure to work with. We had several challenges on this project but Jimmy Gibson worked hard to overcome them and get me the correct system! Mark and his installation crew were on time and worked very hard and made a two day job a one day job. They didn't leave until everything was finished. Which was about 7:30 pm. I couldn't have asked for a better group of guy to install my systems. Special thanks to Mark, Doyle, Johnny & his brothers for all their efforts!!!

The short story is this. Green does good work, and their employees are professional. That being said I had a furnace scroll fan come apart that was still under warrantee. I paid the employee the $85 diagnostic to tell me that I needed the new fan. He didn’t however have the part in stock, even though I told him what part I thought I needed. He would have to get the part and return the following week. I told them I needed the furnace working before the next week. They did return Saturday morning to replace the part. Here’s where I am less than satisfied. Green initially told me the cost of the repair was going to be about $650, all labor because the part was under warantee. I told them that I was unhappy with the cost, and they said the after hours charge was driving the price up. I countered with “if you would have brought the part I told you to bring we wouldn’t be having this conversation”. They agreed to reduce the price but I still got stuck with a $440 charge, plus the $85 diagnoatic charge, (all labor,) for a job that the employee took about 75 minutes to complete. I’m not sure about the mathematics on that. As far as I can tell I paid a furnace repair company over $350 per hour. To me that feels very excessive, and that is after I gave them about $20k in business when they built the house. For that reason I cannot give them a wholehearted endorsement as I’m not sure they are charging proper rates on their shop rates.
