At Green Heating and Cooling we recommend AC maintenance 2x per year. Once in the spring and once in the fall. At least once a year, sometimes more depending upon the exact location and climate. Why? Indoor climate control and indoor air quality are of the utmost importance with respect to both health and comfort. Air flow and distribution affects each of us. It is important for the system to always run efficiently and optimally. This also saves money on utility bills.

The electrical apsect of the system is also important for air conditioning servicing. These components, including everything affecting voltage and amps, must be checked (at least yearly) for problems to avoid breakdowns. All electrical contacts should also be inspected and repaired.

Refrigerant levels need to also be monitored and adjusted for the sake of comfort and energy savings; and, the condensation line and pump absolutely must be cleaned and checked. No one wants water damage!

One last component of an air conditioning service call is the inspection of the outdoor part of the unit. Unclean condenser coils raise refrigerant pressure. They also increase utility bills. Now what?
